Lu Jing — Biography & Historical Record
Lu Jing (陆景, Lục Cảnh), courtesy name Shiren, was an imperial prince-in-law and Admiral of Eastern Wu. The second son of Grand Marshal Lu Kang (陆抗, Lục Kháng), Lu Jing commanded naval divisions defending Jiangling (江陵, Giang Lăng). During the Jin conquest of Wu in 280 AD, Lu Jing engaged the massive fleet of Jin Admiral Wang Jun (王濬, Vương Tuấn). Refusing to surrender, Lu Jing fought to the death on his warship, dying on the very same day as his brother Lu Yan.
