Zhou Shang (周尚, Chu Thượng; fl. 190s), was an Eastern Han regional administrator, Administrator of Danyang (丹阳太守), and the uncle of the brilliant Eastern Wu Grand Commander Zhou Yu (周瑜 / Chu Du).

Governing Danyang during the warlord clashes of the late Han dynasty, Zhou Shang provided sanctuary and military supplies to young Zhou Yu and warlord Sun Ce (Sun Ce) as Sun Ce crossed the Yangtze into Jiangdong. When warlord Yuan Shu appointed his own cousin Yuan Yin to replace Zhou Shang, Zhou Shang and Zhou Yu evacuated Danyang and permanently joined Sun Ce, providing the vital logistics that enabled the conquest of Jiangdong and the founding of Eastern Wu.

Role in History (Sanguozhi)
