Yue Zhao (乐肇, Nhạc Triệu) was the son of the martyred Inspector Yue Chen (乐綝, Nhạc Sâm) and grandson of the Five Elite General Yue Jin (乐进, Nhạc Tiến). After Sima Zhao (司马昭, Tư Mã Chiêu) crushed Zhuge Dan (诸葛诞, Gia Cát Đản)‘s rebellion in 258 AD, the court rewarded the Yue house: Yue Zhao received the hereditary title Marquis of Guangchang (广昌亭侯), honoring two generations of battlefield loyalty.
