Ju Zong (沮宗, Thư Tông; c. 160s–after 200 AD) was a military officer from Guangping Commandery who served under the northern warlord Yuan Shao during the late Eastern Han dynasty. He was the younger brother of chief strategist Ju Shou (沮授).
During the monumental Guandu campaign in 200 AD, when Yuan Shao divided his grand army and marched south across the Yellow River, Ju Shou foresaw military catastrophe due to Yuan Shao’s arrogance and refusal of sound strategy. Ju Shou gathered his clan and distributed their ancestral wealth, preparing for doom.
Ju Zong questioned his elder brother’s pessimism, but Ju Shou presciently explained the fatal flaws in Yuan Shao’s command. Ju Zong accompanied the army and fought faithfully, remaining loyal to his brother through the collapse at Guandu.
