Biography & Historical Record
Lady Bai (白夫人, Bạch phu nhân) is recorded in later Sima clan genealogies as a concubine of Sima Yi (司马懿, Tư Mã Ý). Unlike principal wife Zhang Chunhua (张春华) or concubines credited with specific sons in Jin registers, Lady Bai’s children are not consistently named in Pei Songzhi’s layer of sources — the site keeps her as an attested concubine title without inventing offspring.
She belongs to the same household politics that produced many Sima sons for Wei service and Jin succession. Treat her as genealogical roster, not as a speaking figure in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Role in Romance of the Three Kingdoms
Absent from the novel’s named cast. Concubine lists are a post-Han genealogical layer.
