Empress Teng (滕皇后, Đằng Hoàng Hậu), named Fanglan (芳兰, Phương Lan) in literary traditions, was the last empress consort of Eastern Wu, married to Sun Hao (孙皓, Tôn Hạo). Despite Sun Hao’s volatile nature, favoritism of concubines, and the exile of her father Teng Mu (滕牧, Đằng Mục), Empress Teng maintained dignity and preserved empress status. In 280 AD, when Western Jin captured Jianye, she accompanied Sun Hao to Luoyang in submission and lived out her life in the Jin capital.
