Empress Fu Shou — Biography & Historical Record
Empress Fu Shou (伏寿, Phục Thọ Hoàng Hậu) was the first empress consort of Emperor Xian of Han (汉献帝, Hán Hiến Đế). Having witnessed Cao Cao execute Consort Dong (董贵人) while pregnant, Empress Fu Shou wrote secret dispatches to her father Fu Wan, urging him to eliminate Cao Cao. When the letters were uncovered in 214 AD, Cao Cao sent Hua Xin (华歆, Hoa Hâm) to drag her from the palace walls. She was stripped of her empress title, imprisoned, and murdered along with her two young sons.
