Cao De (曹德, Tào Đức) was a younger brother of Cao Cao and a son of Cao Song. In 193, while the family was moving wealth through Xu Province, Cao Song and Cao De were murdered by the officer Zhang Kai. The Hou Hanshu records his personal name as Cao Ji (曹疾). The killing became a personal motive in Cao Cao’s subsequent campaign against Tao Qian.
