Zhong Shen (钟绅, Chung Thân) was a Wei officer and brother of Zhong Jin (钟缙, Chung Tấn) serving under Xiahou Dun. At the Battle of Changban in 208 AD, armed with a massive battleaxe, Zhong Shen attempted to trap Zhao Yun near Dangyang Bridge. Zhao Yun drew the newly captured Qinggang Sword (Blue Scenery Sword / 青釭剑) and sliced Zhong Shen in half along with his helmet and armor.
