Zhang Xiong (张雄, Trương Hùng) was the eldest son and heir of Senior General Zhang He (张郃, Trương Cáp). When Zhang He was killed in a Shu ambush at Mumen Trail (木门道) in 231 AD, Emperor Cao Rui (曹睿, Tào Duệ) deeply mourned the loss and granted Zhang Xiong the hereditary Marquisate of Mo (鄚侯), enfeoffing four of Zhang He’s other sons as interior marquises.
