Xiahou Wengai (夏侯文宁 / 夏侯文改, Hạ Hầu Văn Cải), was a high-ranking military commander and civil administrator of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms era, serving with distinction as the Administrator of Anfeng (安丰太守) along the strategic Huai River borderlands.

A prominent member of the noble Xiahou clan closely intermarried with the imperial Cao house, Xiahou Wengai took command of Anfeng fortress during the height of Eastern Wu’s riverine incursions. Collaborating closely with Wei Grand Commander Man Chong (满宠) and General Cao Zhen, he reinforced river defense garrisons, built granaries, and successfully repelled Wu raids led by Lu Xun and Zhuge Ke.
