Wang Sui (王绥, Vương Tuy) was a nobleman and scholar of the Western Jin dynasty. Hailing from Linyi in Langya Commandery, he was the beloved son of Wang Rong (王戎), the Grand Commandant (Situ) and one of the famous Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove.
Celebrated in contemporary accounts for his extraordinary natural grace, handsome demeanor, and refined philosophical conversations, Wang Sui was considered the shining hope of the Langya Wang clan. His untimely passing at a young age caused his father Wang Rong profound grief, which became celebrated in Chinese literary history through tales of parental devotion in the Shishuo Xinyu.
