Li Qiu (李球, Lý Cầu) was the nephew of veteran Shu Han minister Li Hui (李恢, Lý Khôi) and Commander of the Imperial Tiger Guard (虎步监, Hổ bộ giam). During Deng Ai’s invasion in 263 AD, Li Qiu accompanied Zhuge Zhan (诸葛瞻) and Huang Chong (黄崇) to defend Mianzhu Pass (绵竹关, ải Miên Trúc). Fighting to the last man as the fortress was overrun, Li Qiu was killed in action, dying as a loyal martyr of Shu Han.
